APS6 Allied Health Technical Advisor required for a 12 month Federal Government contract

Hays are working with a Federal Government Department who are looking for an APS6 Allied Health Technical Advisor to join their busy Perth team on a 12 month contract. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable Government Department and make a meaningful impact on the local community.

**Your new role**

The Allied Health Technical Advisor is responsible for providing technical, professional and operational support and advice to internal and external stakeholders of the Department. The Advisor will contribute to the Professional Stream division through strategic planning, program management and policy development that support the vision and objectives of the department. Duties of the position include:

- Provide Allied Health clinical and technical expertise through coaching and mentoring participants
- Appropriately manage complex and sensitive conversations associated with funding approval
- Ongoing relationship management with stakeholders, delegates and external providers to ensure consistency in services
- Support internal audit team in reviewing decisions

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary level qualification in Allied Health
- Previous experience working in a similar role providing technical advice to clients
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance and working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work for the Federal Government
