**The purpose of this role**

With curiosity, a love for technology, and great storytelling abilities, Microsoft Sales Specialists help people around the world uncover the unknown potential of their businesses. They support the likes of global organisations and governments in their mission to make the world a better place and — alongside the whole Microsoft team — are ultimately shaping the future of technology.

**Be the M365 sales leader and expert for your assigned set of accounts**
- Hunt new Modern Work (remote work, security, compliance, teamwork, insights, meeting and calling) opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business and technical contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of M365 platform.
- Drive customer intent and demonstrate solution value with envisioning workshops, and demonstrate economic value of our M365 solutions
- Deliver customer business transformation and success through accelerated adoption and usage resulting in customer references that can be leveraged in future sales engagements.

**What skills do you need to have?**

There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft.

However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:

- Sales professional with experience selling cloud technology and/or services, and it would be beneficial although not essential to have a good knowledge of enterprise
- Credibility is a key attribute as you will regularly sit with CIO's and other customer executives to advise and challenge.
- Sales Execution: Skilled in leading BDM and ITDM conversations with high-potential customers, building pipeline and developing and presenting solutions that meet customer requirements & strategy, and leading deal execution.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in understanding Modern Work solutions and products, or competitive equivalent.
- Sales Excellence: Skilled in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, leading forecast, account and territory. plan discussions to drive intentional selling in high propensity accounts.

Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
