**About the Role**
Hope Community Services in partnership with Yorgum Healing Services (Yorgum) has been awarded a contract to establish and operate the Armadale Family and Domestic Violence Hub along with a number of other specialist service partners including:
- Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services
- Ngala
- Women’s Legal Service WA
- Aboriginal Legal Services of WA
- Marmun Mia-Mia
- 360 Health + Community
- Ruah Community Services.
The new hub will provide victim-survivors with access to services and supports in a single, accessible location, as well as providing off-site services for perpetrators and young people. The service model will see the creation of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team, while adopting a trauma informed, culturally competent approach: while the various hub team members will be employed by one of the nine service partners, they will work within the cohesive FDV Hub team culture under the leadership of the FDV Manager, to provide support to women and children who are experiencing family violence
As the Men’s Services Coordinator, the role consists of Developing and leading the Men’s outreach strategy including education and programs whilst ensuring engagement of community leaders, Elders and stakeholders and members in co-designing the Cultural healing Stream.
The key responsibilities include providing programs with links to connecting to country and providing counselling, support and education to those who maybe perpetrators of family violence.
**About you**
We are looking for someone who is driven and committed to achieving positive outcomes for clients and the community. To be successful in this role you will have a Social Service degree/diploma and/or significant relevant experience in this area, you will have sound cultural skills, knowledge and have built networks in the area.
During the interim service delivery phase (and at other times as needed) you will be required to assist in the set up and packing away of furniture and other equipment at different sites. Therefore, some manual handling and other physical tasks are required as part of this role; the incumbent must be willing, fit and able to undertake these tasks on a regular basis
This role requires the following clearances:
- National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
- Working with Children Check and
- Current unrestricted WA Driver’s licence
