**The role**
As a **Procurement Officer,** you'll be providing essential procurement expertise to help stakeholders plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements, ensuring they align with organisational and business objectives. You'll be responsible for assessing stakeholder needs, managing procurement processes, and offering advice on compliance and best practices. Additionally, you'll support the implementation of procurement governance frameworks and maintain procurement records for transparency and accountability.
In this dynamic role you will have the opportunity to explain complex procurement processes to business units encouraging them to adopt best practices. You'll also need to stay updated with procurement policies and legislation while balancing stakeholder needs and maintaining procurement integrity and value-for-money outcomes.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience in a similar role ideally from large complex organisation
- A strong understanding of NSW Procurement Policy Framework, processes and legislation
- Effectively balancing stakeholder needs while maintaining procurement integrity and value-for-money outcomes
- Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations

**About Bradfield Development Authority (BDA)**
Bradfield Development Authority is responsible for coordination, delivery, and investment attraction across the Western Parkland City, in collaboration with State and Commonwealth government agencies and with local councils.
The Western Parkland City is one of the fastest growing regions in Australia. By 2036, it will make up more than a quarter of the state’s entire population growth. By 2056, it is expected to be home to two million people - five times the size of Canberra. A project of this scale is a mammoth undertaking backed by a $20 billion trilateral government City Deal and with landmark infrastructure like the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. It also includes the country’s most ambitious and exciting project - the new Bradfield City Centre development.
