Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Communications Officer** to deliver communication and marketing activity to support the department's programs.

**About The Role**
- We’re looking for a marketing & communication all-rounder with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, implementing and evaluating compelling, targeted communications.
- You will report to an experienced and supportive manager and be able to access a hybrid working arrangement.
- You will be responsible for contributing to the development of comms strategies, engaging with stakeholders and internal supporting areas like our design studio and PR team.
- You will manage the development of comms assets to meet deadlines for new and existing digital product releases like the ATO’s app, the myGovID app and the Relationship Authorisation Manager platform.
- Working with the manager, you will collate metrics, develop evaluation reports and craft responses to social media.

**Ideally, you will have**
- Communications, Public Relations or Journalism background with three to eight years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to develop compelling content that can be used in social media, web content and media briefings
- The ability to problem solve and tailor communication style and language to different audiences
- Ability to assist the procurement process for external suppliers as required to deliver communication and branding solutions
- Contribute to brainstorm sessions within the team to identify creative pitches to ensure communications achieve cut-through
- Use evidence based findings and intelligence to support the development of awareness and education communication strategies
