**Your new company**
A centrally located Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the next 12 months.

**Your new role**
- Supporting the development and implementation of a stakeholder engagement strategy for the Branch
- Developing plans that will lead to improvement in stakeholder relationships and stakeholder methodologies. Providing expert guidance and advice to business areas to support best practice stakeholder engagement at the operational level
- Developing and implementing effective relationship managements and communication, initiatives and tools, to support strong positive stakeholder engagement
- Providing expert advice to business areas on strategic engagement to support delivery of strategic Branch objectives and project-specific goals
- Report to the Branch Manager on the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement activities and identify key risks and areas for improvement

**What you'll need to succeed**

- **You will be someone who can negotiate with influence to achieve the best communication outcomes**

- **Previous experience in stakeholder engagement, along with an understanding of Australian Government communication requirements and processes will be highly advantageous**
***:

- **Experience in engagement for projects requiring environmental and change management is a high advantage**
