Clients and Markets Coordinator

The role

As the Clients & Markets (C&M) Coordinator, you will play a critically important role in supporting our Perth business development initiatives, as well as key national client and strategic growth area programs.

Working closely with the Clients and Markets Senior Manager, Senior Adviser and Senior Events Adviser you will provide business development, marketing and event management support. This is a cross-practice, cross-sector role which contributes to profiling initiatives and growth across the Perth office as well as across National Strategic Growth Areas..

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include support on strategic projects, support on national and local client accounts and initiatives and strategic client events. You will be involved in:

- Providing assistance in support of key national and local client programs including:

- assisting the Senior Manager, Senior Adviser and Relationship Partners (RPs) on a number of priority client accounts including research, mapping, planning and event coordination;
- regular media monitoring;
- client and market research as required;
- ensuring ongoing currency of client mailing lists on InterAction (the firms client relationship management database)
- Assisting the Senior Manager, Senior Adviser and RPs with preparing a range of client material including:

- capability statements;
- tender responses;
- training proposals;
- business plans; and
- event invitations and campaigns
- Assisting with the coordination of logistics for internal and external firm client events such as webinars, seminars, briefings, luncheons, client entertainment etc.
- Building personal credibility internally by consistently delivering high quality work, being responsive to requests and adhering to deadlines.
- Assisting with the timely delivery of relevant market, industry and competitor information to key stakeholders as requested.
- In consultation with the Senior Manager, prioritising and managing a range of complex tasks to meet project expectations.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (either business, communication, legal or business-related discipline)
- At least 2 years’ legal/business development/marketing/communications experience gained ideally from a professional services environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport and relationships across all levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.
- Strong tender management skills and a proactive and pragmatic style.
- Proven organisation and coordination skills, demonstrated in previous roles, with excellent attention to detail.
- Curiosity and intellect - an ability to ask the right questions.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, positive approach to your work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A sound understanding of databases and campaign management software (highly desirable)

The Clients and Markets team provides advice and services to the business across the full spectrum of marketing and Business Development - from brand awareness and design, media and communications, research and analysis, opportunity identification, pursuits and bid management to key client account management. The team is known as a strong training ground for up and coming talent.
