Data Test Manager

**Project Description**
Data Test Manager requirement for one of the leading Australian Bank.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and ensure delivery of testing services is aligned to the project delivery methodology.
- Develop Project QA Strategy in alignment with QA Policy.
- Ensure visibility, traceability, and control of the testing process to deliver as per the business requirements.
- Understand product/business requirements to ensure a successful project delivery that meets client expectations.
- Build a team with right skillsets, including QA analyst, architect, automation and performance skilled resources as required by the project.
- Define the team's project-specific responsibilities.
- Facilitate an effective and collaborative team environment, build strong relationships, coordinate resolution of technically complex Problems and issues, and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
- Recommend & implement continuous improvements to QA processes and activities based on defect root cause and learnings from similar projects.
- Develop communication plans, define testing delivery team roles and responsibilities, plan and monitor project schedules to ensure on time delivery.
- Monitor and track progress against milestones. Report on testing items to key internal and external project stakeholders on agreed time intervals.
- Understand high-level business, functional and technical solution requirements, and facilitate communication and coordinate discussions that drive decisions at the appropriate stage of the process.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all communication and information for Test Service related management.
- Analyse and report on trend, performance, availability, and capacity management for Testing Service delivery.
- Report upon testing activities including Test Summary Reports.
- Review testing entry/exit criteria
- Identify test environment requirements
- Identify test resource requirements
- Coordinate shakedown testing for project test environments.
- Management of test data requirements

**Skills**
**Must have**
- More than 5 years of experience data and ETL test management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users swiftly. ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Extensive experience in Quality Analysis, Business Analysis, Database testing and Big data testing.
- Strong experience in eliciting, analysing, and documenting testing critical artefacts.
- Gathering the requirements and understanding process flow to analyse the specifications mentioned as per the Business needs and create strategies to perform various aspects of testing and document the build changes.
- Successfully tested and delivered ETL, Big data and data warehousing projects in Cloud and

on-premise platforms.
- Test design and execution using Pyspark, Hive, Impala, SQL and UNIX shell
- Responsible for preparing Test plan, Test strategy, Test estimation and Test environment by code

deployment and data loads.
- Performed extensive testing on big data Cloudera Hadoop platform.
- Contributing to Test Automation strategy in data space of the client organization by bringing

Novel framework-based test approach for testing complex data type of Big Data ecosystem.
- Ingested and verified multi-source data from structured and semi structured data sources including DB2 database and CSV files using Custom build Ingestion Framework. The ingested data is stored in Data Lake.
- Verified data transformations on top of ingested data using SQL and Pyspark in data HUB and Mart layer.
- Tested and Delivered MicroStartegy BI reports as per business requirements.
