**About The Role**

In your new role as the Fleet Compliance & Technical Manager, you will be leading the major contracts in the fleet build and lease space to ensure that supply, build, and ongoing maintenance is maintained. Without compromise of safety or compliance, you’re consistently researching forms of innovation where commercially and strategically appropriate for the business. You will be the technical lead across the LPG business and ensure that all fleet related compliance obligations are understood, maintained, and communicated regularly and clearly.

**Your day-to-day**:

- You’re accountable for the fleet / vendor operating model, including all capability assessments for associated employees involved
- The technical lead on equipment design and specification processes across fleet equipment categories deliver a competitive advantage
- Develop strategies for optimal equipment replacement programs
- Lead and support the Technical Authority team for LPG fleet and comply with the Technical Authority framework
- Ensure Technical and Regulatory compliance across the LPG business’ mobile assets and supporting operations.

**Is this you?**

**Your resume should be able to demonstrate**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, or technical trade level qualifications in an engineering, science, or related discipline
- Technical expertise in fleet design, build, and ongoing maintenance - either from an engineering design or mechanical trade background
- Experience with Procurement and Contractor management with exposure with fleet management, land transport legislation, and transport principles/systems/processes
- Experience in developing and delivering new fleet-based solutions - diesel to hybrid, electric, LPG, NG and hydrogen
- You’re able to naturally build relationships and showcase strong negotiating/influencing skills
