**About the role**

As the Welcome Day Coordinator your primary function will be to oversee the onboarding of our newest team members, ensuring they feel welcomed and inspired and receive all the information to successfully commence their career at The Star Sydney.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating Welcome Day induction
- arranging dates, booking rooms, liaising spokespeople from each department as well as hosting throughout the day
- Being the point of contact to assist participants and management with Welcome Day enquiries
- Ensuring room is appropriately set up prior to Welcome Day to accommodate the number of attendees, and room is packed down at the end of the day
- Accurately completing administrative and systems related tasks within appropriate timeframes, including LMS compliance for new team members
- Collating Welcome Day data from the relevant people information System and providing to departments as required
- Maintaining financial database of expenditure providing statistical information to the Group Manager
- Ordering and maintaining inventory register for Welcome Day costs
- Timely communication with various departments to ensure all facets of Welcome Day run smoothly

**About you**
- High level of comfort presenting to large groups
- Strong customer service orientation
- Well developed communications skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suit (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to convey passion for The Star
- Capacity to work autonomously and problem-solve as required
- Capability to maintain inter-departmental relationships
