How you will make an impact

Join our team as the After-Hours Hospital Coordinator to oversee the operation of Cabrini Malvern both in and out of hours. The role is responsible for providing operational direction, coordinating the effective and efficient management of the hospital (including management of human and material resources), as well as identify and manage risks and issues occurring in the hospital after hours and on weekends.

An ongoing part time opportunity is available working predominantly night duty Weekends 2130-730. This position is ideal for an ANUM/Senior Leader working part time looking to expand and grow their skills in leadership and management.

Key responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the hospital, including managing risk- Support Cabrini's operational goals- Provide comprehensive orientation program and ongoing support to staff- Work relieving shifts as the Hospital Coordinator- Utilize excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills- Utilize ward management experience to ensure smooth operations

About you

Cabrini's After-Hours Hospital Coordinators ensure the smooth operation of the hospital outside of regular working hours. With their expertise and problem-solving abilities, they effectively handle challenges and emergencies, providing exceptional care to our patients. Collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, they contribute to seamless workflow and support Cabrini's operational goals.

You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse- At least five years recent experience in a large, acute private hospital as a Registered Nurse- Experience as a leader or manager in nursing- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship development skills- Demonstrated skills and confidence in performance management, conflict resolution and negotiation- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads- Demonstrated ability to manage human and material resources within budget
