How you will make an impact

The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of cancer stream multidisciplinary team meetings across the Malvern and Brighton hospitals.

The coordinator will work with the case preparation teams to collect and collate data and capture outcomes from the MDT meetings. Additionally, they will be required to facilitate the Medicare billing of attending consultants and provide administration support for some Medical Services committees.

You will have:
- A demonstrated interest in research is essential and previous research experience in health care is desirable.- Previous experience in coordinating meetings including preparing agendas and minutes.- Training and experience in data entry and management as well as data management skills including data cleansing and data aggregation.- Proficiency with database management, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, and Zoom- Understanding of, or experience with, hospitals, other providers, and laboratory information systems- Ability to generate reports from databases.- An understanding of the ethical and privacy issues and adhering to Victorian privacy laws and any other laws that regulate the handling of personal information.- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, as well as part of a team.- Ability to exercise judgment, show initiative and maintain confidentiality in all matters.- Excellent attention to detail.- Highly organised with an excellent ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
