We are a family friendly dental clinic situated in Burwood East. We are a young team of dentists and dental assistants, where our daily objective is to have fun, work hard and provide our patients with the best level of customer experience. The clinic is modern and beautifully presented and offers an upmarket but comfortable environment, enjoyed by patients and staff. It has welcoming street level presence and is conveniently situated in the heart of Eastern Melbourne. As a practice, we offer the full scope of dental procedures and is equipped with the latest dental equipment and technologies.

So show us your bright bubbly personality, natural warmth, and great customer service skills. Pay will depend on your experience and with regular Performance Appraisals.

**About the Role**:

- Meet and greet patients, customers, suppliers and practice staff
- Manage all incoming phone calls for the practice
- Schedule patient appointments and perform follow-up confirmation communication
- Communicate bookings and patient needs with Dental staff
- Maintain practice and office supplies, including the ordering of stock
- Prepare documented treatment plans for patients
- Process payments, health insurance rebates and other claims
- Maintain patient records and other computer systems and databases
- Prepare correspondence as directed
- Coordinate marketing and finance activities as directed
- Bank reconciliations
- Bookkeeping functions including processing timesheets
- Fluent verbal and written English. Chinese language is preferred but not essential
- Diligence and safety awareness
- Initiative-taking and demonstrate initiative
- Confident and cheerful disposition
- Compassionate and caring
- Able to build rapport and help patients feel at ease
- Great personal presentation
- Good computer literacy
- Punctual
- An ability to multi-task and work well within a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
