Due to an internal promotion within the GWF business, Tip Top is looking for their next Head of People & Performance (P&P), Operations to join the Tip Top People & Performance Leadership Team. This role is responsible for partnering with the Operations function across 13 sites in Australia and leading a team of regionally based P&P partners. Reporting to the P&P Director, and partnering closely with the Operations Director, the role will develop and drive the people strategy and develop commercial pragmatic solutions to business issues and opportunities.
Our focus is on developing and nurturing the Tip Top culture - inclusive, safe and performance driven; partnering with our business to lead change and business transformation; coaching leaders and developing our pipeline of future talent; lifting performance ambition; and ensuring we can attract and retain talent.
Purpose of the Role
- Drive our people strategy achieving balanced business plan goals across Tip Top Operations
- Promote and develop our unique high performance culture ensuring leaders are effective coaches and deliver impactful performance management
- Develop leaders who can deliver performance through their people with a strong lens on inclusion, diversity and wellbeing - supporting and challenging people to be themselves at their best
- Ensure Operations structure and capability is fit for purpose and adapts to meet changing business requirements; people costs controlled, and wages inflation minimised
- Minimise IR risks and manage fair and commercial Enterprise Agreements
- Drive an interdependent people safety culture with strong felt safety leadership
- In conjunction with Operational leaders and quality teams, drive a Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) safety culture and proactively support the FS&Q safety strategy deployment
About You
- 10+ years' experience in HR generalist role
- Experience in HR partnering with senior leaders/Directors, in a commercial and operationally focused environment
- Strong business acumen and a desire to influence and drive business results
- Proven experience in driving the people elements of large-scale change projects
- Strong experience as a people leader, developing talent within your team and the business leaders, coaching for performance and growth
- Proven experience leading complex employee relations and EBA strategy
- Ability to think strategically and through a whole of business lens to develop innovative solutions, solve problems and ensure that P&P initiatives support the achievement of business objectives
- Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to coach and constructively challenge and build trusted relationships
- Strong planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with and lead change
