You will be working for a publicly listed, non-bank lender that specialises in the provision of Invoice, Equipment, and Trade Finance services to Australian SMEs, with offices all over Australia and is growing rapidly. This role is based in their Brisbane office but may be considered for the North Sydney office.

You will be responsible for working in daily operations across all product lines and onboarding processes to achieve settlements in a timely manner. You will take responsibility for managing the end-to-end settlement process, from deal approval to handover to the Client Management Team as well as undertaking document management and verification, processing contracts, and detecting anomalies and potential fraud.

This is a fast-paced and busy hybrid role (splitting time in the office with WFH), dealing with multiple transactions, internal and external parties, therefore you must be proactive with a high level of initiative to keep the process under control. The business is highly automated with a platform that integrates seamlessly with various accounting software providers.

**The role**:

- Create and maintain customer records in Salesforce CRM along with other lending systems
- Utilise industry expertise to review loan documentation and credit submissions
- Coordinate the execution and settlement of approved deals with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance for all legal documentation, AML/CTF conditions in line with company policies
- Identify and register security interests on the PPSR
- Engage regularly with banks, solicitors and other third parties
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams, Clients and third parties throughout the onboarding journey
- Review processes and provide improvement recommendations
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

**To be successful in this role, you will require the following essential criteria**:

- Previous settlements experience gained in commercial lending, Invoice Finance or Equipment Finance is preferred
- Previous experience with loan settlement, documentation, and security registration is highly desirable
- Proficiency using a CRM like Salesforce is preferred
- First class communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail with experience gained working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a collaborative mindset are essential
- A team player used to encouraging collaboration and efficiency in the workplace with a can-do attitude
