CVGT Australia are currently seeking to recruit a
**Full Time Business Trainee** for
**local Electrical Business - AL Parker Electrical** the Traineeship will occur for a minimum of 12 months with the potential to continue employment upon completion. Throughout the Traineeship you will receive on the job training within a supportive environment whilst study and/or complete your
**Certificate III in Business**.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the business trainee is to undertake reception duties and provide administrative support the team.

**Core responsibilities and duties**:
**_
Financial processing_**
- Entering bills into Xero
- Reconciliation of accounts ensuring compliance with taxation requirements
- Assisting the Business Operations Manager and Finance Manager with other tasks as directed

**_
Business Support_**
- Answering of incoming phone calls, taking details of customer jobs, etc
- Booking jobs in through the Online Job Management System
- Assisting trades on jobs to liase with customer when needed (eg. Notifying when late etc)
- Order appliances
- Assisting with administration of rental maintenance checks (liase with tenants to book in jobs, managing jobs in systems).
- Invoicing and creating Certificates of Electrical Safety
- Maintain office supplies (eg. Stationary, tea coffee)
- Provide reception relief coverage during daily breaks, at times of peak work load or Business Operations Manager absence
- Assist with records management processes
Organise staff uniforms and OHS equipment
- Maintain employee documentation - license, ect
- Assist with planning for staff social events
- Other administrative tasks under direction of the Business Operations Manager

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time managements skills with the ability to meet priorities and meet deadlines
- Aptitude for working with computers and MS Office.
- Able to work accurately and neatly with an attention for detail
- Able to use initiative

**Requirements**:

- **Preferred if applicant has a driver’s **license
