We are seeking a skilled Electric Engineering Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in assembling and commissioning our powertrains.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Powertrain Assembly**: Assist in the assembly of electric motorcycle powertrains, ensuring high standards of quality and precision.
- **High Voltage Handling**: Safely manage high voltage systems and components, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- **Mechanical Assembly**: Perform other mechanical assembly tasks as required to support the build and development of electric motorcycles.
- **Software Commissioning**: Support software-related activities for commissioning new motorcycles, including uploading and configuring vehicle control software.
- **Diagnostics & Troubleshooting**: Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot any issues related to powertrain systems and software commissioning.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all assembled components meet the company’s strict quality standards before final testing and validation.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and software development, to ensure seamless integration of components.
**Skills & Experience**:
- **Electrical Engineering/Technical Background**: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, OR at least 3 years of full time relevant industry experience.
- **Experience with High Voltage Systems**: Experience working with high voltage systems (up to 400V+), with strong safety awareness and practices.
- **Mechanical Aptitude**: Proficiency in mechanical assembly, with the ability to follow technical drawings and schematics.
- **Software Proficiency**: Basic understanding of software tools related to vehicle control systems and ability to assist with software commissioning.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail, particularly when dealing with sensitive high-voltage systems and critical assembly tasks.
- **Team Player**: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
