**About the role - Permanent Full-time Position**

The Service Desk Support Officer is a member of the IS Operations team of Information Systems, reporting to the IS Operations Lead. This role is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or somebody currently completing study in Information Technology and/or Cyber Security who are looking to break into the industry with the support of a close-knit, knowledgeable team who will provide plenty of support and mentorship. You will partner with the business to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and make a difference in the lives of South Australia’s most vulnerable people.
- Your responsibilities include but not limited to:_
- Play a critical role in the defence of our crucial data from would-be threats
- Partner with staff to empower them to utilise Digital Technologies
- Be the expert in all things IS and use your expertise to provide first level support and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Enable the organisation to continue functioning at the highest level by efficiently fulfilling service desk requests in a timely manner

**About you**:
With a personal interest in technology and the drive to learn more and develop yourself, you will use your strong people skills to launch your career to the next level. You may currently be studying or recently graduated, but with a can-do attitude, a willingness to lend a hand, and tackle new things you will easily settle into this enthusiastic, outcome driven team. You’ll have the ability to communicate technical terms and situations in an easy-to-understand way, so that our staff feel empowered to use technology. With your no job is too small attitude, you will be a hard worker, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

- Strong customer service and client management skills
- A personal passion for IT and Technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a complex, fast paced and customer service focused work environment
- An understanding of Cloud based technologies, such as Azure, Microsoft M365 and other cloud services will be an advantage
- Previous experience working in Level 1 Helpdesk will be looked upon favourably

**Specific Requirements**:

You will be required to have, or be willing to obtain:

- A valid full South Australia driver’s license (C Class)
- National Police Clearance
- Evidence of current COIVD 19 vaccinations including any booster requirements
- A valid Child-Related Employment Screening via Department of Human Services
- Child Safe Environments Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours
- Travel within South Australia
