**About the role**:
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role based in Erskine Park will recruit blue-collar workers, liaise with agencies, mentor both employer and employees, handle performance, appraisals, training and development and conduct administrative tasks involving budgeting, documentation, payroll and record keeping.

- Pre-employment
- Write & advertise job advertisements
- Organise & attend interviews
- Prepare pre-employment testing and paperwork
- Post-employment
- Prepare employment paperwork and contracts whilst saving an electronic copy
- Update and provide job descriptions to all new employees whilst maintaining a signed copy
- Optimise staff retention
- Conduct employee inductions with monthly follow-ups
- Issue new employees with applicable ID cards, security cards and alarm codes
- Probationary discussions
- Probation Periods
- Inform managers of due probation periods and advise the correct process
- Conduct probation period reviews with employees
- Sign and electronically save probation period copies and send them to the manager
- Employee Relations
- Employee advice and counselling - Employer
- Assist management with questions regarding relation to employment
- Inform managers of the full employee lifecycle, policy interpretation, grievance handling, investigations and their legal obligations
- Provide managers with professional and accurate advice and necessary documentation
- Attend meetings with the manager

- Provide employees with advice and guidance on how to address, deal with or rectify the problem
- Deal with all grievances and complaints promptly and professionally
- Speak to managers on behalf of the employee

- Employee Exit Process
- Conduct employee exit interviews
- Inform managers of when exit interviews are due and the correct process
- Sign and electronically save copies and send them to the manager once an employee has exited Bollore Logistics
- Terminations and disciplinary actions
- Performance Management
- Provide advice and guidance to management on how to deal with performance issues
- Organise and attend performance management meetings
- Write employee warning notices
- Performance Appraisals
- Provide training and assistance to employees and management on how to complete performance appraisals
- Advise management on any feedback from the employees
- Assist with performance review queries
- Training and Development
- Organise training and development for new and existing staff
- Follow up with staff on expiring licenses and qualifications and organise necessary training
- Discuss with managers applicable employee traineeships or skill recognition courses
- Research training needs and providers
- Match training costs to the budget
- Coach line managers with people issues (including attendance, performance management, policy breach)
- Policies, Procedures, Forms & Letters
- Review and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with Australian law
- Update all letters and forms in compliance with legislation
- Liaise with managers and staff with any new changes
- Deliver a copy of HR policies to new staff
- Implement and distribute policies directed by the regional office
- Budgeting
- Reconcile the HR Planner
- Data entry in the HR Management System
- Create a Recruitment Plan
- Run budget reports and assist with budget preparation
- Obtain CPI for the following year to establish an increase
- Make recommendations based on the obtained information
- Provide attendance feedback to assist with eligibility for increase
- Administration
- Assist with documentation in personnal file
- Support the HR Manager for all HR-related problem-solving and decision-making
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Coordinate and drive CSR initiatives for Australian branches
- Payroll
- Reviewing the pre-pay confirmation report to ensure each pay rate and hours are correct and employees are paid correctly
