The Role

Our Salisbury site in Adelaide’s northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products.

This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes across predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.

You will report to the Manufacturing Team Leader and you will be responsible for ensuring all packaging functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and for delivering product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when it is required.

This role is a fixed night shift position, working hours 11:00 pm - 7:30am Sunday to Thursday. You must be comfortable working these hours.

**Responsibilities**:
- Reporting and actioning all safety incidents and issues.- Reporting and following up all maintenance requirements.- Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing and production related documentation, fully in compliance with HACCP and GMP.- Replenishment of packaging stocks.- Achieving and exceeding operational KPIs including but not limited to: OEE, milk waste and schedule adherence.- Keeping the area and equipment clean to the required standard, free from milk spills and waste accumulation.- Operating filling and packaging equipment.

About you- Experience in operating food manufacturing equipment.- Proven time management skills.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and outlook. (SAP experience is preferred but not essential.)- Ability to work autonomously.- Competent and licensed forklift operator (Forklift licence is preferred).
