- Novotel Melbourne South Wharf - features golden 26 level tower with 347 accommodation rooms & suites, Mr. Carpano Dining and Bar and Allora Café. The hotel is complemented with direct access to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC), the Southern Hemisphere's largest meeting space and adjacent to the DFO centre, with 180+ retail brands.
- Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley - situated 25 minutes east of Melbourne CBD and it offers 155 rooms, Ibis Kitchen & Bar, and 4 flexible meeting rooms catering from 4 delegates up to 120 delegates.
- Ibis budget Melbourne Airport - offers 73 rooms and is situated just 400m from Melbourne Airport. With its convenient location, this affordable Melbourne Airport hotel is the ideal choice for visitors flying into Melbourne late at night, or flying out early in the morning
**About the Role**
You will work 4 days per week (30 hours) however have an opportunity to secure a Full Time position in the near future. In this role, you will assist the Director of Talent and Culture in coordinating all areas of Human Resources as follows:
- Assist with recruitment & inductions
- Provide on-going support & advice to team members on HR related matters, policies & procedures in a timely manner
- Drive employee engagement activities and foster a positive team culture
- Ensure staff files are up to date and meet hotel compliance requirements
- Complete monthly HR reporting
- Manage WorkCover claims & Work Health and Safety matters
**Skills and Experience**
- True passion for Human Resources and helping people succeed
- Previous experience in hotels preferred
- Sound knowledge of HR related legislation, Fair Work and Award
- High attention to detail to draft documents & administrative skills (Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a positive attitude
