Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**APS6 Program Development Coordinator** who can plan, develop, implement, and evaluate training and development programs
**About the role**:
- Lead the efficient delivery of the expeditioner training program.
- Consult with stakeholders to review learning materials and future operational capability requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement to manage subsequent planning and scheduling.
- Lead on continuous improvement through expeditioner feedback and operational learning to manage subsequent planning, scheduling, and communications accordingly.
- Interpret and synthesise policies, priorities, and strategic directions relevant to the delivery of training programs and broader Section objectives.
- Consult with appropriate stakeholders to review learning materials, address future operational capability requirements, and facilitate the required learning outcomes for current and future training programs.
- Provide feedback on training performance (i.e., from training service providers) against agreed indicators, benchmarks, and budgets.
- Manage performance appraisals and champion professional development for direct reports.
- Effectively represent the Section on working groups, and in discussions and/or negotiations with stakeholders.
**Ideally, you will have**:
- Leadership, resilience, and adaptability as a change manager with proven ability to effectively deliver training program objectives.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with, and positively influence peers, senior executives, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a workload that is significantly reactive in nature.
- Confidence in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Competence (or the ability to quickly acquire) in:
- INX-based Training Management Systems
- Financial & Personnel Management Systems (Technology One and Aurion)
- SharePoint
- Project
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
