**Why will you enjoy this role?**

The purpose of this position is to assist with the administration and coordination of the Flower & Garden Competitions & Events for the 2025 Royal Easter Show.

The **Sydney Royal Easter Show** is the largest annual ticketed event staged in the Southern Hemisphere and we are currently looking for an **Administration Assistant** to join our Flower & Garden Competitions & Events team for the 2025 Show.

To excel in this role, you will have competency in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional customer service skills combined with event and/or hospitality experience. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of duties including, but not limited to:

- Administering Flower & Garden Competitions, managing entries, proofreading and data entry
- Collating information for schedules and mail-outs
- Organizing details for Judges and Stewards, including invitations, duty rosters and monitoring responses
- Coordinating the timetable for stage demonstrations with various associations and presenters
- Ordering vehicle, entry and relevant passes when required
- Organising and coordinating functions associated with the competitions
- Providing support to the Flower & Garden Events Manager

**If you have?**

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the Horticulture or Landscaping industry (desirable)

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administration
- Customer service experience

**Computer Skills**
- An intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite

Although this role sounds like a lot of fun, it is a high-pressure period in the RAS calendar and your administration skills and experience mean that you can hit the ground running. This role is one of many, contributing to the successful delivery of the 2025 Sydney Royal Flower & Garden Competitions and Events, and requires a calm approach, an eye for detail, open-mindedness, quick thinking, and the ability to juggle many tasks at once.
