**Sector Lead Agribusiness, Business & Wealth ESG**
- Key role in leading our strategic response to Climate and ESG for our Australian Agribusiness portfolio; supporting our bankers and customers in the transition to net-zero.
- Full-time Permanent opportunity.

**How will I help?**

We are strongly focussed on delivering our climate change commitments and supporting customers in the transition to a net-zero economy by 2050.

This Sector Lead role is part of the ESG team within the Business & Wealth division. We've established a clear and ambitious plan for uplift of our Climate and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) capabilities across the Group - including specific initiatives focussed on the implementation of net-zero targets, tools and processes to uplift data, encompassing Climate and ESG aspects.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Leading implementation of the Group's net-zero target(s) for Australian Agriculture in accordance with the Group's Net-Zero Guidelines.
- Engaging and building strong relationships with bankers, customers, industry groups and other stakeholders to drive insights and execution of our implementation plan.
- Working with business stakeholders to shape industry strategies from a transition perspective, to capture customer actions and insights aligned to sector transition pathways - on both the risk and opportunity side.

**What do I need?**
- Deep sector experience (10-15 years) working in the agricultural industry in Australia or New Zealand.
- Working knowledge of agriculture sector transition pathways including global, national and local industry group targets and initiatives.
- Experience across relevant emerging themes including natural capital and biodiversity.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with agribusiness bankers, supporting engagement with customers on this theme.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and influencing change.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in agriculture / rural science, environmental science or management, as examples.
