ABOUT THE ROLE
The WHS Coordinator will champion a safety-first culture and be the business expert in workplace safety and wellbeing delivering timely advice and support to managers and employees on all WHS and compliance issues.
This is a hands-on position that suits a proactive professional with the ability to resolve issues and effectively communicate and engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
**Key responsibilities**:
Ensure safe working practices are the centre of the working day across the organisation
Provide specialist advice and support on a broad range of safety matters including risk assessments, incident reporting and investigations and responding to queries from employees and industry
Complete internal WHS audits of all sites and ensure actions are implemented
Report all WHS statistics and indicators as required and maintain WHS register
Analyse WHS data to monitor incident trends and focus on preventative activities
Develop, review and communicate WHS policies, procedures and associated documentation
Develop, facilitate, promote, implement, and evaluate safety education and WHS induction training for employees and managers
Farming and processing facilities compliance
Project work, as required

Please note that intrastate travel between our Batemans Bay facility, Sydney facility and our oyster farms located on the NSW north and south coast is a requirement of this role.
ABOUT YOU
Do you have 3+ years of WHS management experience and know your way around various Acts, policies and regulatory frameworks?
Are you passionate about safety and are keen to protect and develop AOC workers?
Do your epic problem-solving skills make you the go to person when an issue or incident occurs?
Do you have an open communication style and the ability to partner with key stakeholders to influence positive outcomes?
Are you a stickler for detail, continuous improvement, and safe working practices?
