We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at our café in Melbourne, Australia. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday days only with no public holidays, and offers a great pay.

As a Barista with us, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and brewing the best coffee drinks in town. In this role, you will be expected to:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks using our state-of-the-art equipment, with the ability to dial in recipes for optimal flavour.
- Engage with customers, answer questions about our menu offerings, and provide knowledgeable and friendly service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and in good working condition.
- Assist with daily operations and customer orders, working as part of a team to ensure orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food and beverage regulations and health codes, ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
- Pitch in with other tasks as needed, including basic food preparation and other duties as assigned.
- Additionally, as part of this role, there will be a bit of food handling involved, and we are looking for someone with an all-rounder vibe who is willing to pitch in with other tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee-making techniques and equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee and tea, including different brewing methods and flavor profiles.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers and build relationships.
- Basic food preparation skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years in a similar environment and role preferable in Australia
- Sensory skills
- Dialling in recipes
- Working independently and in a team of up to 2-3 baristas in a single shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-38 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
