**_ Youth Employment Scheme (YES)_**
- The Youth Employment Scheme (YES) provides young people aged 15 to 29 with a 12-month, entry-level opportunity to work in the Victorian Public Service while completing accredited training._
- To be eligible for the YES, you must be:_
- _aged 15 to 29 years when you start the traineeship_
- _unemployed or working less than 15 hours per week_
- _not currently undertaking tertiary education_
- _without a post-school qualification (excluding Certificate I-IV courses)._

**Special provisions**:
**Benefits of Traineeship with AGA**:

- Earn and learn in your own pace but required to complete course within 12 months
- On the job training provided
- Gain a Nationally recognised qualification: Certificate III in Business
- Mentoring and Support if required
- Weekly Payment

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete administration tasks to support the team
- Prepare and send written communication to internal and external Stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings including note taking of minutes
- Strong attention to detail in preparing agendas for meeting
- Input data and information into databases
- Data entry and any other administrative tasks to be completed
- Complete Certificate III in Business Traineeship within 12 months

**Requirements**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Must be an Australian citizen/resident
- **Applicant must be triple vaccinated to apply**:

- Successful applicants will need to undertake police check
- Working With Children (WWC) check is required for this role

This position is located in Ballarat.
