Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech’s and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers.

**We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our Issuing/Digital domain.**

Reporting to the QA Practice Manager, the main purpose of this role is to:

- Analyse the requirements to estimate the effort of quality assurance activities.
- Plan and schedule quality assurance activities and preparation of supporting test artefacts.
- Design test cases and test scripts and set up test beds.
- Execute tests in test lifecycle and report on test execution and provide documentation for test completion.
- Update and maintain knowledge management artefacts.

**You must have testing experience with AS2805 to be considered for this role**

As Cuscal’s QA Analyst your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Review and analyse Epics, Features, User Stories, SOAP to estimate the extent and magnitude of quality assurance activities.
- Evaluate the completeness of the requirements from a testability point of view.
- Contribute towards preparing the test strategy and test plan document that can be shared with the internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse the environment to evaluate suitability of quality assurance activities and correspondingly define the configuration required.
- Plan the test conditions to be validated by
- The engineering team as a part of unit test
- The QA group as a part of sprint, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Plan the schedule for the regression test case updates and regression test run.
- Prepare a test scenario matrix that covers the happy, unhappy, alternate paths of the acceptance criteria.
- Convert test scenarios to test cases (for manual execution) and test scripts (for automation execution)
- Review unit tests prepared by the engineering team to validate entry criteria to commence testing.
- Validate the entry gate before commencing the test phase.
- Execute test cases in the corresponding environment’s based on the plan and schedule created.
- Log, triage, and retest defects.
- Demo the test outcomes to the squad during retro ceremony.

**About You**

To be successful in this position you will have skills and experience in the following:

- 3+ years of experience as a ‘Quality assurance analyst’ in the IT industry within the financial services sector.
- Experience in customising and adopting test execution frameworks to deliver the outcomes in the squad.
- Experience working in agile methodology.
- Experience working with specific industry standards including AS2805 / ISO8583.
- Although not required experience in the following would be highly regarded:_
- Experience working as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
