**The Opportunity**:
Our Infrastructure Team support the corporate information technology (IT) environment, multiple recovery sites as well as the underlying operational technology (OT) infrastructure that supports the SCADA and Electrical systems across the network. These environments incorporate over 500 workstations and 600 virtual and cloud-based servers operating on a Microsoft Windows platform, utilising Office 365 across a wide variety of Dell equipment.

The IT Infrastructure and Security Analyst is responsible for providing support in the delivery and management of a highly available, secure, predictable, and business aligned IT infrastructure & security service to ElectraNet. The role is accountable for supporting operating aspects of the infrastructure desktop and server architecture pertaining to cyber security, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, requests for services and change, and problem management. The IT Infrastructure and Security Analyst also supports the delivery of best business outcomes, adopting a continuous improvement and collaborative approach.

As the IT Infrastructure & Security Analyst your responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking the day-to-day operations and administration of vulnerability remediation toolsets and activities. Eg. Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation
- Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of guidelines, processes, and systems in regard to patching and vulnerability management.
- Contribute to the remediation tasks created from annual Security Audits and Maintenance plans
- Assist in the delivery of Cyber Security solutions when required
- Provide IT systems administration pertaining to Cyber Security, including installation, incident and problem resolution, and maintaining the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for desktop and server builds
- to ElectraNet’s Cyber Security Best Practices

**About You**:
As this role is the interface between customers, service providers, internal stakeholders and industry groups, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships across both Technology and Cyber Security functions. This will be underpinned by:

- Experience in Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation including relevant toolsets (i.e. Microsoft SCCM, PatchMyPC)
- Experience in server administration of Windows Server Platforms, Hypervisor Platforms and an understanding of LAN/WAN architecture;
- Experience in desktop administration of Windows Desktop Operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office products including Office 365;
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge using IT service delivery methodologies
- Experience in developing, securing and maintaining Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for desktop and server builds;
- ITILv3 Certification desirable
