The role:

The Senior Cloud Engineer are delivery-focused technology experts who serve as trusted advisors to clients. They lead technical aspects of projects, specialising in cloud solutions that often leverage infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and managing enterprise-grade platforms that are secure, scalable, and reliable, while aligning with business and technical requirements.
  • Architecting and delivering robust cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. This includes the use of Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices, and terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Acting as a trusted subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to clients, partners, and cross-functional teams across various practices.
  • Proven track record of leading complex Azure migration projects across diverse client environments, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.

What skills and experience you bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Cloud Consultant, Cloud Engineering, or similar technical role.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience across core infrastructure services. (Experience with Azure application services is a plus.)
  • Strong client focus, with the ability to take ownership, proactively manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in solution architecture and deployment, with hands-on involvement in at least three of the following areas:
  • Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  • Networking technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki).
  • Microsoft Windows Server (including OS, common roles and features, and SQL Server).
