**The Opportunity**

As a hands on and experienced People leader, you will drive operational excellence across a team of 4 in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment.

With a strong commitment to zero harm, this role will work closely with Plant leads to ensure the upkeep and smooth operation of the machine line they are designated too. With your process improvement mindset, you will utilize resources and maximize efficiencies within your area, always ensuring they meet safety, quality and production design goals in addition to cost objectives, and promoting a strong team atmosphere.

This role will suit someone who is happy to commit to a rotating roster working 2 day and 2 night 12 hour shifts per week, then 4 days off

**Key Responsibilities**
- Comply with EHS legislation and the organisations EHS policies and procedures
- Safety communications (e.g. Safety Talks and Safety Alerts) worked through with team members to ensure understanding and compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring all employees are properly trained on quality specifications and are accurately using testing equipment, interpret work instructions and Product Specifications
- Coordinating daily activities, which include the run plan, clean up, and changeovers to best utilize resources and maximize efficiency
- Planning and managing all downtime events on your crew to target 95%+ Time To Efficiency (TTE), this would include but not be limited to maintenance down periods, product changeovers, size changeovers and unscheduled downtime
- Reports in a timely manner on significant stoppages and process issues to manager(s) and peers to allow additional resources to be assigned as required
- Developing strategy to close design throughput gaps and improve TTE

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications ideally in engineering or trade
- Strong leadership, providing direction and support to your team
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions through objective analysis, thinking ahead and planning
- Ability to build relationships cross functionally through using internal and external networks
- Ability to operate with a high level of energy, intensity and emotional express
- Highly skilled in written and verbal communication
- Sound ability to manage conflict in the workplace
- Ability to manage time autonomously without instruction and guidance
- Positive attitude and positive orientation towards the business, its objectives and its customers
- Outcome focused and determined to succeed in an ever-changing environment
