An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join Aje. Based at the new Sydney Head Office and reporting directly to the Retail & Wholesale Marketing Manager you will be responsible for delivering the company marketing objectives by servicing the Aje & AJE ATHLETICA retail partners and wholesale accounts across Australia and globally. You will act as a guardian and ambassador at all times, ensuring that all marketing activities deliver commercial results to the global brand vision of Aje.

**As a Retail Marketing Assistant, your tasks will include**:

- You will support the Aje Retail and Wholesale Marketing Manager and Retail Marketing Executives to deliver creative in-store activations and events across key customer journey touchpoints, to support trade goals and maintain market-leading brand positioning.
- Track and report on all marketing activity against success criteria generating an activity evaluation report
- Build and nurture relationships both internally and externally, to ensure Aje & AJE ATHLETICA’s participation in marketing campaigns across all relevant on and offline marketing touch points by supplying all relevant assets and content in a timely manner.
- Support the Aje Marketing Executive with all marketing requests for David Jones across imagery and assets, plus execution of other ad hoc opportunities and activities. Building relationships with the David Jones marketing team & buyers to ensure we are maximising Aje Share of Voice on DJs channels.
- Support the Retail and Wholesale Marketing Manager with all marketing requests for international partnerships, pop-ups, events and other ad hoc opportunities and providing regular seasonal content submissions to partners.
- Act as the point person for the creation of retail marketing creative briefs; working closely with the wider marketing team, VM manager, Retail operations and brand visuals teams to ensure all relevant information is included.
- Maintain and update meeting notes, plus additional workflow and project management tools for the wider channels and content team meetings to best support cross functional collaboration.

**You will bring**:

- 1 -2 years’ experience as a Marketing Assistant within the Retail Industry
- Knowledge of wholesale business operations and international partnerships is preferred
- Copywriting skills preferred but not essential
- Sound working knowledge of IT packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Gmail/Outlook
- A positive and collaborative attitude; willingness to bring the very best to the team
- Creative, enthusiastic and passion to develop knowledge and skills within retail marketing
- Effective time management skills and experience working within timelines and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills that will be able to influence all team members and stakeholders no matter what position they hold
