A permanent opportunity has become available with a successful engineering design and metal fabrication business (with over 40 years history) in Carole Park.
- We are ideally seeking availability to work full-time hours, however, if you would prefer school hours (eg. 30-35 hours/week) then flexibility is available to negotiate this type of arrangement._
This role is primarily responsible for a range of accounts/bookkeeping functions, including:
- Full function accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Daily reconciliation of account transactions and bank reconciliations
- Payroll processing (including preparation and lodgement of payroll tax, PAYGW and superannuation)
- End of month financial reporting (including BAS)
- Inventory/stock allocation processing
- Associated administration tasks, including assisting the management team as required
To be considered for the opportunity, you should demonstrate:
- Solid accounts experience (including payroll, AP, AR, reconciliations, EOM, BAS and exposure to stock/inventory)
- Sound all-round administration skills
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Good skills in MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning and using new computer systems
- _Experience in MYOB and Bundy Plus (time and attendance system) preferred (but not essential)_
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player approach
