**The Company**:
A boutique Association located in Melbourne's CBD are looking for its next Communications and Media Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This Association has a large membership base right across Australia and produces sensational annual conferences and events.
**The Role**:
The Communications and Media Manager will report to the Director, of Communications and Policy. This role will be responsible for all marketing communications, including media releases, e-blasts and website, as well as brand, logo and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Maintaining excellent communications with members and key stakeholders, including media
- Brand, logo and reputation management
- Manage all the marketing communications including; publications, eblasts and website
- Develop and publish new promotional collateral
- Pro-active media campaign and outreach and responding to media requests
- Manage company website and keep content up to date
- Manage and edit all company publications, including newsletter, journal and ad hoc documents and reports
- Produce content for publications, including targeting, requesting, scheduling and conducting interviews
- Team management of the Industry Communications Coordinator
- Generate media publications to meet target of 200 articles placed each year
- Produce 15 media releases for the Association each year
- Produce two journals each year for the Association
- Monitor all social media groups on LinkedIn and Twitter and post to those groups at least once a week
- Development marketing communications plans and content for event launches
- Knowledge of the public policy environment and issues management
- Communications, marketing and media experience is a must for this role
- Ability to develop and publish new promotional collateral keeping within brand guidelines including brochures, eblasts, event guides and publications
- Ability to work with Association committees and any experience working with committees seen as a positive
- Demonstrable experience in publication production
- Ability to develop and implement communications campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, PR, marketing, business and/or journalism are desirable
