**The Opportunity**:
We have an opportunity in our Brand, Marketing & Communications team for an experienced Events Executive based in Sydney, to join on a full time, permanent basis.

This role will work closely with the Events Manager and will assist with managing the busy Sydney client events calendar, and the Perth staff and client events calendar - advising practice groups, industry partners and Client, Markets & Growth team on the planning of their upcoming events schedule, identifying event opportunities that align with our guiding principles, and operational end to end event management of our client events calendar including client events, webinars and whole of office staff events held onsite in the Sydney and Perth offices and at external venues but not limited to.

**About You**:

- Minimum 4+ years' event management experience in a professional services environment
- Proven experience in managing and delivering multiple and concurrent events from end to end including budget, stakeholder and supplier management
- Ability to influence stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes
- Excellent project management skills, ability to define and link activities, responsibilities and deadlines
- Business acumen in corporate dealings and event industry
- Extensive knowledge of core processes of event management and information sources, suppliers and venues suitable for Ashurst events
- Confident in taking the lead and project managing in person and virtual webinars
- Strong administrative background including CRM contact management and customer service
- Maintaining composure and a high level of personal presentation, professionalism and polish during event delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
