The Opportunity

Play a leading role in shaping the future of healthcare real estate at Dexus. As Head of Healthcare, you’ll set the strategic direction of our platform, drive growth, and deliver sector-leading outcomes in one of Australia’s most dynamic markets.

You’ll lead a high-performing team of General Managers across Transactions, Development, and Property Management, fostering excellence and innovation. Working across the business, you’ll collaborate with investment, development, and asset management teams to originate new opportunities, enhance portfolio performance, and unlock long-term value.

Key responsibilities include:

- Strategic Leadership: Set and execute the healthcare platform strategy, define investment mandates, and leverage market insights to drive competitive advantage.
- Team Leadership: Lead three General Managers across Transactions, Development, and Property Management, ensuring alignment and high performance.
- End-to-End Sector Oversight: Own outcomes across financial performance, project delivery, and strategic objectives.
- Investment & Transactions: Oversee acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and capital allocation to support growth.
- Development & Asset Strategy: Guide development pipeline origination and asset management operations to optimise performance and tenant experience.
- Innovation & Insights: Strengthen analytics capabilities and lead innovation initiatives to unlock new value across the business.

About You

You’re a strategic leader with a strong foundation in property, business, or commerce, and a proven track record of driving performance across transactions, development, and asset management. You bring deep commercial acumen, senior leadership experience, and the ability to lead high-performing teams through complex, cross-functional initiatives.

While direct healthcare experience is a plus, your genuine interest in the sector and ability to identify its opportunities will set you apart. You’re confident engaging with investors and stakeholders, backed by strong market networks and relationship-building skills. With a bold, entrepreneurial mindset, you’re analytical, curious, and passionate about unlocking value and driving innovation.
