Working under limited direction, the Case Management Advisor provides expert Human Resources advice, support and guidance on misconduct, probation, performance management, formal complaints, and disputes. This advice is critical in assisting the HR Advisory team to effectively support their portfolios, by resolve matters in a timely manner and in line with regulations, legislation, and policies.

Reporting to Manager, Workplace Relations, the Case Management Advisor will:

- Lead end-to-end formal cases relating to misconduct, probation, performance management, formal complaints and disputes.
- Provide a range of solutions to the HR team to satisfactorily resolve cases in a timely manner, in line with regulations, legislation, policies and procedures.
- Empower and coach decision makers and leaders to make informed decisions to mitigate risk whilst uplifting leadership capability.
- Provide a high level of support and communication to complainants, respondents and supervisors and link with employee assistance/support services to support wellbeing.
- Prepare documentation to support case outcomes including briefs, correspondence, disciplinary advice, memos and summaries of investigation reports.

Key experience and qualifications:

- Tertiary qualifications in Employee Relations, Human Resources or a related discipline, with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in the use of contemporary HR practices.
- Proven ability to investigate employee complaints and to recommend and deliver timely and appropriate strategies and innovative solutions.
- High level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft briefs and correspondence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing skills and key stakeholder engagement in a customer service environment.
