Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport’s governing body, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. We are now looking for a Marketing Lead - Australian Open on a full time, permanent basis to join our vibrant marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the marketing plans for the Australian Open, which are consistent with and support the objectives of Tennis Australia.

- you will:_
- Work directly with Marketing Manager to implement agreed national and international Australian Open Marketing strategy
- Coordinate and lead the relevant briefs of the Australian Open
- Lead the creation, development and execution of go-to-market product plans pertaining to marketing, branding and positioning
- Coordinate partnership with partners to attribute size the market segments
- Assist to clearly define target customer groups and input to event strategy planning
- Enhance event marketing efforts by working closely with diverse teams across the organisation, bringing marketing expertise and insights to the table.
- Engage and manage agency partners with defined scope of work, clear briefs, regular work-in-progress meetings and formal feedback sessions
- Assist to lead and manage advertising, content and media plans to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase conversion for the Australian Open
- Coordinate ways of working with ticketing to review pricing strategy and ticket product offers for specific audience segments
About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- 5 years plus experience in Branding, PR, Advertising, Communications, Market Research, Web and Online communications
- Detailed understanding of related digital / internet technologies
- Strong multi-channel Brand experience with a track record in direct/digital activity
- A self-starter with superior communication, analytical, negotiation and written skills
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Brand strategies and campaigns that have delivered the desired outcomes within defined budgets
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing creative concepts
- Relevant product and industry knowledge (exposure to the sports or event industry preferred)
- Proven experience in customer and market research
- Significant experience in budgeting, administration and reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
