ABOUT THE ROLE
No two days are the same in this fun, fast-paced role. As our full-time Functions Assistant (working across a 7-day rotating roster), you’ll be:

- Assisting in the coordination and smooth running of weddings, corporate events, private functions, and more
- Liaising with suppliers and building great relationships with vendors
- Creating detailed event documentation and run sheets to keep everything on track
- Getting hands-on with event set-up and pack-down
- Helping grow our functions business by supporting enquiries and bringing new venue hire opportunities to life.
- Working across both Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park, why settle for one iconic location?

ABOUT YOU
You’re the kind of person who brings calm to the chaos, fun to the function, and detail to the day. You love working with people and making things happen—even when it means rolling up your sleeves.

We’d love you to have:

- 2+ years’ experience in events, hospitality, or tourism
- Confidence managing events from planning to pack-down
- Top-notch communication skills—you’re great with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Superhuman organisation and multitasking skills
- A sharp eye for detail and high standards
- Tech confidence (you know your way around office systems)
- A driver’s licence and flexibility to work across both sites
- Availability for a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
