Specifically, we’re looking for an Allied Health Assistant that holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Someone with previous experience working with patients receiving end of life care or life limiting illness as well as demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders. **Are we right for you?**

Here at Justice Health NSW, the Allied Health Assistant - Palliative/End of Life Care will provide assistance and support to the Palliative Care Allied Health team in the delivery of Allied Health Services to patients requiring palliative and end of life care. The Allied Health Assistant will also provide care and services to older adults when required. The Allied Health Assistant will work under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health professional to facilitate patient care by providing clinical and administrative support. The Allied Health Assistant will work within Justice Health NSW and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
