**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity for an **ADF Support Officer** to join our program based in Canberra, reporting to the DFMS Project Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring the **Defence Formal Messaging System** product operations run smoothly, managing software deployment/testing, proactively monitoring networks, maintaining updated support documentation, and analysing for solutions and improvements.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure smooth operation of DFMS products.
- Address urgent issues outside regular work hours.
- Manage deployment and testing of software versions whilst also proactively monitoring networks for issue detection and resolution.
- Create and update support documentation.
- Analyse issues, provide solutions, and suggest improvements. Communicate with users and system managers directly and via internal tickets.

**About YOU**
- Broad technical ICT experience in multiple areas including networking and systems admin
- Experience in providing support for software products
- Experience in a defence related technical industry
- Knowledge of Defence communications network infrastructure
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or eligibility to obtain
- Holder of a current Negative Vetting 2 Defence Security Clearance
