Central Pipe Fabrication Group Pty. Ltd. is an Australian owned private company specialising in the manufacture and supply of HDE, DWV, SW and Communication sweep bends, adaptors, reducers, caps, flanges, couplings, junctions and slip sockets as well as PVC grease traps and industrial tanks. We are seeking an experienced and team oriented individual to take on the role of Plastic Fabricator and join a small production team specialising in the fabrication of customised plastics solutions. This full time role requires production capability, preferably with experience in the fabrication of plastic materials including PVC and Acrylic into high quality products or steel fabrication.
- Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or fabrication, including use and experience with welding, cutting and heat bending equipment. Must have an understanding of plastic fabrication and welding tasks primarily with PVC piping, fittings and sheet.
- Competency with measuring instruments, hand and also power tools
- Mechanical aptitude including reading & interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic is essential
- Be able to work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment

**Experience**
- Plastic Fabrication or steel fabrication 2 years required, or at least 2 years experience using hand tools and working within a trade/manufacturing environment
- Plastic or metal welding certificate as well as a Forklift Licence would be highly regarded.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
