Role Details:

  • Full-time, on-site position
  • Standard hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am–5:00pm
  • Location: Osborne Park
About the Role

As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for:

  • Manufacturing and repairing moulds, jigs, dies, and precision tooling.
  • Operating manual and CNC machinery, including wire cutting and welding equipment.
  • Troubleshooting tooling and mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Producing and checking detailed tooling to exact tolerances.
  • Ensuring moulds are set up, inspected, and approved for production.
  • Heat-treating, brazing, or welding parts during fabrication as required.
  • Maintaining tools, dies, equipment, and workshop machinery in top condition.
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in tooling, safety, and quality.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Toolmaking Certificate or Diploma.
  • Extensive toolmaking and precision machining experience.
  • Strong CAD/CAM and mechanical skills.
  • Proven experience with CNC tooling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Solid understanding of injection moulding tool design and manufacture.
  • Proficiency in wire cutting, welding, and manual toolroom machinery.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and quality systems.
