As a member of the Partnerships team, you will contribute to, and influence whole of government programs of works to deliver integrated and cohesive physical activity responses for a diverse range of people and communities.
You will support an ambitious reform agenda through the achievement of outcomes required under the Activate Queensland 2019-2029 strategy. In particular, you will:

- Provide leadership and management in the development, negotiation and delivery of high quality engagement and partnering opportunities with community, the active industry, and other stakeholders to deliver improved services, products and initiatives.
- Actively participate in and, where appropriate, lead forums with government and non-government stakeholders, promoting a positive and accountable public image and the development of productive partnerships to support delivery outcomes for Activate Queensland 2019-2029.
- Engage effectively across the department, and with partners in government and non-government sectors to inform strategy, policy and program development.
- Develop, implement and promote effective multilateral communication strategies
- Lead and manage a team that assists the delivery of the Activate Queensland 2019-2029, ensuring alignment with government directions and a whole-ofgovernment/ agency-wide perspective.
- Provide expert advice on, and be accountable for, the rigour and performance governance applied to the planning, delivery and administration, resource management and reporting of programs under Activate Queensland 2019-2029.
- Manage the allocation and prioritisation of resources, identification of complex risks and issues, and analysis of program performance and recommend strategies to ensure continuous delivery on agreed outcomes for Queenslanders.
- Foster a focus on continuous improvement by providing professional, authoritative and timely advice on systematic issues and risks, and recommend strategic business improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create, monitor and contribute significantly to the development, implementation and review of partnership management activities across the business.
- Model the Agile principles of collaboration, flexibility, teamwork, business value, simplicity and speed across delivery activities.
- Manage the formulation of and preparation of accurate and comprehensive briefing, advice and recommendations to the senior leadership team and Government as required.

Possession of a current driver's licence is required.
