**Your Opportunity**:
**As the Manager, you will**:

- Lead the provision of high-quality grant management support functions for the Division, including business systems administration, contract management, financial management, records management, review and implementation of policies, procedures and reporting.
- Provide authoritative and professional advice, analysis and guidance to senior management in relation to effective grants management, financial management, funding and budget management.

The Manager reports to the Director, Grants Management, Early Childhood, Early Childhood and State Schools Division.

**About the Role**:
As the Manager - Grants Management, your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Lead and manage a multi-functional team to support the delivery of early childhood programs and initiatives through the provision of grants and contract management, business systems administration, records management, financial management, reporting and other support, ensuring a culture of accountability and high-quality client service.
- Identify emerging issues and provide high level and strategic advice to senior management on appropriate grants management practice and development to support the delivery of early childhood programs.
- Build and manage positive working relationships with peers, senior management, other teams, regional staff and stakeholders to ensure grants management outcomes support the strategic direction of the Division and Department.
- Lead the development and implementation of grants management support structures and business systems improvements to address gaps and needs and enhance existing service delivery in the early childhood sector.
- Manage the implementation, review and ongoing utilisation of grants and contract management processes and systems, ensuring compliance with Government and departmental requirements and robust processes with appropriate internal controls and checks.

**About You**:

- Experience leading a high-quality grants management or finance function including business systems and reviewing and implementing policies, procedures and reporting;
- Strong team leader who can support and mentor a multifunctional team.
- Innovative and collaborative.
- An understanding of Queensland's kindergarten funding arrangements and regulated Early Childhood Education and Care contexts would be advantageous.
