Wyong, Australia Connecting Families Full time

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide 24/7 assistance and support to a client with dementia. _A reminder that this role is casual with full-time available hours. Must be flexible to do any shift including active nights._

**Essential requirements**:

- Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Employee Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

**About you**:

- Must have demonstrated experience working in the aged care setting and supported clients with dementia
- Must be available to work across a rotating roster including weekdays and weekend shifts
- You have the ability to manage difficult situations and behaviours and be able to de-escalate these situations in a therapeutic way

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Driver Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification and CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Location: In person
