**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**The Team Leader - Sexual and Reproductive Health is part of GenWest’s leadership team and works in the Strategy, Advocacy and Community Engagement (SACE) stream. The SACE stream implements activities designed to promote women’s health, safety and wellbeing across three key areas: sexual and reproductive health and rights; mental health and wellbeing; and the prevention of violence against women.**

**The role will report to the Manager - Primary Prevention, with direction and support provided by the General Manager - Gender Equity. You will be responsible for providing daily leadership, management, and coordination of a range of initiatives supporting the sexual and reproductive health of women and communities in the western metropolitan region, including leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Action for Equity regional partnership and strategy.**

**As a team leader in the SACE stream, this position also contributes to the implementation of GenWest’s Strategic Plan and formulation of public policy responses relevant to GenWest’s strategic priorities. This position leads a team of specialist sexual and reproductive health promotion coordinators, and Family and Reproductive Rights Education Program (FARREP) coordinators, providing ongoing operational support, supervision, and direction.**
