Start your Jacobs career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed - today and into tomorrow. As an Associate Environmental Scientist in the Contaminated Land Assessment and Remediation Section, you will take an active role in leading the delivery of projects. This will include technical guidance for more junior staff in supporting the successful execution of field sampling programs and contamination assessment report writing. You will provide mentoring to more junior staff in relation to the broad skills required of a consultant, both technical and softer skills. You will take an active role in business development, responsible for building client relationships that secure repeat work and new work that supports your own personal pipeline, as well as that of others in the team. More specifically, this role will include the following tasks that will be performed with support from other members of the team as appropriate: - Planning and execution of moderate to complex projects. You will provide technical guidance to support others on such projects as well as perform project management and client facing roles where appropriate.
