We are seeking an
Associate Hydrologist
to join our fast-growing water team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping and delivering high-profile water projects, while mentoring junior staff and helping drive business growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver hydrology and water resource projects for a diverse client base.
- Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic assessments, modelling, and data analysis.
- Support flood risk, water quality, and catchment management studies.
- Provide technical input into environmental approvals and strategy.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, building internal capability.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, bids, and client engagement.
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related discipline.
- At least 9–12 years' experience in hydrology and water resource management.
- Strong technical skills in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and GIS tools.
- Proven project management and client relationship-building skills.
- Experience preparing high-quality technical reports and proposals.
- A passion for mentoring staff and contributing to the growth of the team.
