We are seeking an
Associate Hydrologist
to join our fast-growing water team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping and delivering high-profile water projects, while mentoring junior staff and helping drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and deliver hydrology and water resource projects for a diverse client base.
  • Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic assessments, modelling, and data analysis.
  • Support flood risk, water quality, and catchment management studies.
  • Provide technical input into environmental approvals and strategy.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, building internal capability.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, bids, and client engagement.

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related discipline.
  • At least 9–12 years' experience in hydrology and water resource management.
  • Strong technical skills in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and GIS tools.
  • Proven project management and client relationship-building skills.
  • Experience preparing high-quality technical reports and proposals.
  • A passion for mentoring staff and contributing to the growth of the team.
