Web Production Coordinator

You will work with content specialists across the department, communication officers and various web teams, building strong, effective partnerships with agency business groups and key stakeholders across the Business Corporate Partnership (BCP) and Queensland Government.

**You will**:

- determine the nature and scope of an incoming job; the resources required; timeframes, and liaise and negotiate with clients (internal and external to the agency) regarding the progress, status and deadlines for completion of their particular job
- establish, develop and foster strong relationships with marketing and communication officers and web authors, provide specialist advice to these officers on all aspects of Web development and production specifications and ensure specific projects follow consistent web publishing processes, policies, standards and guidelines
- develop and maintain information management systems and provide assistance in the ongoing maintenance of these sites
- liaise with the web technical team to create and implement technical solutions to address various departmental business requirements and improve functionality, usability, accessibility and overall user experience of the department's websites and intranet
- set up analytics including tags and tracking, and establish reports to enable an understanding of web performance
- develop training materials and provide specific web development training to internal clients in the use of web content management systems
- develop and maintain procedures, practices and techniques that will provide clients with ongoing access to appropriate guidance and technical advice on Web maintenance and production
- evaluate the usability of the Intranet, identify problems experienced by users and suggest possible improvements to build the Intranet into a more effective knowledge management tool
- develop an understanding of the principles of effective web writing and guide communication officers and other internal clients in their use.
